Who are we?

We, Bianca Prins and Heleen Jehee, have many years’ experience in child social services.

Bianca completed a higher vocational degree in Social Work in The Hague 1998.

Heleen is a remedial educationalist with a masters degree from the University of Leiden 1999. She identifies easily with expat children, having been moved herself many times in her youth as the daughter of a diplomat.

We both have extensive experience in individual counselling and providing support for children and their parents. In addition, we are both certified trainers and have lots of experience providing training sessions, including social skills training, anti-bullying training and self-sufficiency training. We also have experience working with children with multiple problems like ADHD, (social) anxieties or autistic disorders.

We are both fully at home in all the social services existing in the The Hague Area. Helping parents find their way to just the right kind of help is an important part of what XpatsKids offers.
